- Ten pages at the back of the book are point form notes from Lindelbrie's jounal. These suggest that she was hired by Enchenrick the Mine's owner. the cover and the first few pages of a book labeled the Monsterous Manual of Mordekai. The book, written in ancient Auldelian proports to represent a number of strange and unusual creatures created by Mordekai the Auldelian mage, mostly for fun. These include Owlbear, Ravid, Barbed Thrasher, and Pearl Cheatah Illustrations are included, but the text of the tome will require extensive translation to be of any use (Decipher script DC 25). The book is written in a mode of condeming Mordekai's reckless actions.
